Training & Learning: GS1 Standard Application Training Seminar for IoT Identification Industry Successfully Held

The Unique Device Identification (UDI) for medical devices, like an “ID card”, runs through the entire life cycle of medical products. Its implementation improves enterprise information management, promotes industry self-regulation, realizes transparent, visualized and intelligent supply chains, optimizes hospital consumable management and safeguards patient safety.

To promote UDI application, China Article Numbering Center and IMU IoT Identification Industry Alliance held a public welfare training in Hefei, Anhui on March 23rd, 2023.

Invited experts from China Article Numbering Center and Zhejiang Institute of Standardization interpreted UDI implementation from regulatory policies and enterprise specifications. Technical representatives from HP China and Hefei Yougao also shared relevant cases.

During the Q&A session, participating enterprises consulted experts for solutions. All attendees benefited greatly and will apply the knowledge to promote UDI implementation.
